Whole Genome Amplification
SEARCH

Whole genome amplication is typically achieved by two methods. Phi29 based amplification utilises the strand displacement activity of this enzyme to create a representation of the oringal genome whereas this can also be achieved using short primers in a PCR based approach. Both methods require highly purified enzyme free from host DNA contamination and we are happy to advise on which approach might be most useful for your project.

Our processes are performed in a highly controlled environment to ensure your samples are free from contamination and the amplified DNA corresponds to your original sample. For larger studies our expertise in automation can help support the efficiency and control required whilst maintaining fast turn around times.
