A specialised range of fully validated qualitative and quantitative DNA analyses (to ISO17025) can be performed in accordance with clients’ requirements. The analyses use a variety of TBS’ own proprietary technologies especially those concerning the critical step of sample extraction. Where new issues arise, for example due to the introduction of a new GMO or a specific contamination problem, assistance in developing new methods for testing a client’s own products can be arranged. Three levels of service are offered (10 or 5 working days turnaround, and Express service for rapid results) for the following analyses:

TBS performs the qualitative analytical services on finished products including many types of feeding stuffs, some oils and all raw materials.

Where quantitative results are required, specific samples can be analysed using the latest in real-time PCR techniques. When this service is required we advise clients which samples are suitable for testing and we continually work to exploit this technology and broaden the range of samples capable of being quantitatively analysed.
