The BIOKITS RAPID 3-D™ Gluten Test makes it simple to screen for the presence of low levels of gluten in food products and environmental swabs virtually anywhere. Sample preparation and testing take less than 10 minutes, making it a useful “on-site” screening test for decision making. Each kit contains everything needed (including swabs) to perform 10 single use tests.
NEW Two Step Extraction For Enhanced Sensitivity
With the introduction of a NEW two step extraction procedure the test has enhanced sensitivity to gluten when testing food samples. The detection of less than 20 ppm Gluten is now routinely possible even in previously problematic matrices*. The improvement in test sensitivity along with the simple to use 'Dip and test' format means that the improved RAPID 3-D Gluten test is the only choice for on-site allergen control.

A BETTER WAY TO TEST™
The test is suitable for testing “Gluten free” products (cereal derived) e.g. breads, cakes, biscuits, pastries etc. Non-cereal derived foods e.g. baby foods, milk-based products, nonwheat cereals, prepared foods etc.
Specificity:
Common and Durum wheats, Triticale & Rye and to a lesser extent Barley. No reaction with Oats, rice or maize.
Detection Limit:
It is important that validation work is performed on each sample matrix to be routinely tested in order to establish the detection level.
